These are plug n play. I used the stock batocera-based firmware but did not use stock inferior roms, and I added themes to fix some missing logos and other improvements.
 
I added my superior game libraries, fixed a few themes, added missing bios files, added great background music (can be turned off or switched out easily), I optimized certain systems , I added overlays for Vectrex and for many popular vertical mame/fbneo (arcade) games.  Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (both Naomi & Dreamcast versions) has ALL characters unlocked..... I turned it in to the very best card set for the Anbernic RG ARC-S/D!  Includes Sega Genesis, Megadrive-MSU, Sega Saturn, Sega Naomi, Sammy Atomiswave, Playstation, PSP, Arcade (FBNeo/MAME-2003plus), Dreamcast, Sega CD, SNES-MSU1 i.e. SNES-CD, among many others as listed in detail below.
 
NOTE: The games partition (on larger card) is accessible directly in Windows on a PC for super easy game file transfers/mods/copying/pasting.  Cheats are installed available through the retroarch menu for many popular systems.

512 GB Sandisk (class 10) micro SD card loaded and ready to game (for TF2 slot) and ALSO a 16 GB micro SD card for the TF1 slot - for your Anbernic RG ARC-S or ARC-D handheld (Note: Samsung (EVO Select)) card(s) typically provided as pictured  but Sandisk brand may be depending on my stock).  No hardware is included, just the loaded (plug-n-play) sd cards.  You have to have your own Anbernic RG ARC-S or ARC-D handheld device.
 
Most games allow saving game play at ANY spot within the game typical. Games can be identified as "Favorites" simply.  Vectrex has awesome transparent overlays that I added which are missing on most systems.  
 
I removed "ADULT only" roms typical from default setup, but I included them (for many different systems) with their artwork in the main roms folder (not visible on device).  So by inserting the 512 GB card into a PC, a simple copy-paste on a pc will put them all in their proper place in the rom system folders to enable/display after reboot.  The "gamelists.xml" files are already setup for them to be added.  Example of these type of games would be mame roms:  newfant.zip, galpanic, bigtwin, plgirls, etc..
 
I left about 1.5 GB free space on the micro sd card available for smooth operation.
